Vaast are a band I reviewed a few seconds back and now this is a review of their 2012 ep "Live At The Red Door".
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a good amount of blast beats, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast riffs that combine doom metal, grind, crust and thrash together and there are no guitar solos or leads present on this recording.
Vocals range from deep crust growls and high pitched grindcore screams, while the lyrics cover hateful themes, as for the production this recording is recorded live and it has a very raw and primitive sound to it.
In my opinion this is another great ep from Vaast and if you enjoyed the last one, you should enjoy this as well. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Track 8". RECOMMENDED BUY.
