Your Tomorrow are a band from Italy that plays a form of gothic/doom metal with a progressive music feel and this is a review of their 2012 album "Ordinary Lives" which was released by My Kingdom Music.
Drums range from slow to mid paced drumming with not much in the way of fast playing or blast beats, while the synths bring a very dark atmospheric and gothic feeling to the music mixed in with a brief use of flute playing and violins, as for the bass playing it has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars and at times they have a very powerful sound to them.
Rhythm guitars range from slow to mid paced riffs that combine gothic, doom and death metal together mixed in with a lot of dark sounding melodies, while the lead guitars are very distorted and melodic sounding guitar solos and leads, as for the acoustic guitars when they are utilized they use finger picking and full chords as well as solos to bring a 70's progressive rock feeling to the music.
Vocals are a mixture of deep death/doom metal growls mixed in with clean singing and a brief use of screams that have a black metal feeling to them as well as a small amount of spoken word parts and whispers, while the lyrics cover dark and gloomy themes, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound to it.
In my opinion Your Tomorrow Alone are a very great sounding progressive gothic/doom/death metal band and if you are a fan of this style, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Renaissance" "The Essence Of Gloom" and "One Last Breath". RECOMMENDED BUY.
