100000 Tonnen Kruppstahl are a band from Germany that plays a mixture of sludge and doom metal and this is a review of their 2019 album "Teeth Fletcher" which was released by Wooaaargh.
A very distorted sound starts off the album before going into more of a heavier doom metal direction while the music also captures the heaviness of sludge metal. the only track on the album is over 70 minutes in length and divided into 4 different sections while the vocals also bring in a good mixture of both growls and screams.
All of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them while the vocals also bring in more of an aggressive spoken approach in some parts of the recording, Distorted amp noises can also be heard at times and when clean vocals are added onto the recording they also give the music more of a stoner metal feeling and all of the music sticks to a slower direction.
100000 Tonnen Kruppstahl plays a musical style that takes sludge and doom metal and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover dark themes.
In my opinion 100000 Tonnen Kruppstahl are a very great sounding mixture of sludge and doom metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out t his band. 8 out of 10.
